Americas freedoms

Sometimes people say if you give a man a fish he'll eat for a day, but if you teach a man to fish he'll eat for a lifetime, but he has to get a fishing license and he isn't allowed to fish all year, and where and when he wants. He also can't sell the fish, or make anything out of its bones so why do people think we have all the freedoms in the world? That we are the freest country and I can't go out and hunt or fish when I want. I can't give a girlfriend or wife or woman who I like the deer hide I skinned, and I don't even know if it's legal to skin a deer. So even if I could give the rawhide to this person, would she be allowed legally to make clothes out of it, and say it doesn't fit right, could she sell it for cold hard cash?
